EXIST Hosting, Gogax Announce Merger

June 2nd 2008 — Web hosting providers EXIST Hosting (existhosting.com) and Gogax (gogax.com) announced that they have merged, following a decision made by the parent company InterWeb Media Inc.The merger, says the company, has for primary goal to consolidate both companies and re-brand the existhosting.com service on the new gogax.com infrastructure. Major investments were made on the gogax.com infrastructure and it has proved its efficiency and reliability.

Currently, the EXIST Hosting servers and systems are being integrated into the new Gogax platform. Gogax consists mainly of the latest hosting technologies such as virtualization, clustered technology, network attached storage and more.

The company estimates that to complete the migration over to Gogax, it should be no longer than two months to be fully integrated into the new system.

Gogax.com was the latest, more recent project, launched by InterWeb Media Inc which at first was offering 100% FREE web hosting services with no ad banners or obligations. It skyrocketed in popularity which was the primary reason for rebranding both hosting companies into one. Today, Gogax still offers the free web hosting but also offers professional shared web hosting, dedicated servers and domain registration.
